Class Requirements

·          You must keep a Leadership binder

·          Keep weekly journal entries

·          20 community service hours (10 per quarter average)

o         At least 50% performed directly at Sunnyvale Middle School

o         Community group volunteer projects or work

·          20 Work hours

o         You must attend at least 75% of after-school activities

o         You must attend at least two PTSA meetings

·          Leadership projects

o         Marquee

o         Flag Duty

o         Snack Shack

o         Open House/Back to School Night

o         5th Grade Orientation Day

·          Speeches/presentations

·          Maintain monthly calendar with all activities at S.M.S.

·          Various duties that the class is responsible for:

o         Dances & Socials

o         Renaissance

o         Spartan Citizen

o         Red Ribbon Week

·          Remain in good standing (academically and citizenship) with all your teachers
